Care Worker

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Care Workers to join our team in providing exceptional support to individuals in need of assistance. As a Care Worker, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients.

Your commitment to patient care and your ability to create a warm and nurturing environment will be essential in helping our clients maintain their dignity and independence.

Full Time / Part Time Available

Pay: £13.00 ph

Minimum expected hours: 16 pw

Duties

  • Provide personal care and assistance with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.

  • Support clients with meal preparation and ensure proper nutrition according to dietary needs.

  • Assist with mobility and transportation, including driving clients to appointments or social activities.

  • Offer companionship and emotional support to enhance the well-being of clients.

  • Monitor and report any changes in clients’ health or behaviour to the relevant healthcare professionals.

  • Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients, ensuring all necessary hygiene protocols are followed.

  • Participate in training sessions and team meetings to continually improve care practices.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in care roles such as senior care, home care, or hospice care is preferred but not essential.

  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare teams.

  • A compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others.

  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

  • Access to a vehicle such as a car, moped, bike or electric scooter is required for this position along with a valid licence and insurance for the relevant transportation method.

  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends if required.

Support is provided every step of the way, along with on going training and guidance.

We are currently looking for an individual who can work every other weekend OR every weekend as an option- both morning till midday and evening until finish.

​

There’s also the opportunity for more hours as weekday relief/cover for holidays and sickness.

We have weekday/weekend availability with the option of a preferred shift pattern.

This position is ideal for an individual who wants flexibility over their shifts, as our operating hours are between 7am and 10pm.
